About Lakewood

Lakewood has a 18 hole, 60 par golf course community in east Naples Florida between Airport Road and Rattlesnake Hammock. The community offers buyers a variety of living choices from single family homes to villas, condominiums and town homes. 

Lakewood has a family neighborhood feel and is a relatively affordable neighborhood with a wide variety of families with children, retirees, and young professionals.

As a “pay as you golf” community, golf membership is not required to live here unlike the myriad of “bundled golf communities” which charge steep HOA dues to maintain the golf course.

Within Lakewood there are a variety of neighborhoods offering different housing options. There is the main Lakewood single family home neighborhood with 2 to 4 bedroom one-story homes. The properties range in size from roughly 1528 to 2816 square feet. You’ll find that all single family homes feature attached garages and were built by different builders so the community lacks the “cookie cutter housing” feel that plagues many other communities in the area. This is a well established neighborhood with mature landscaping and many of the homes built in the late 1970s through the 1980s and many of the homes have been recently renovated.
